About us
Originally formed in 1989 Citrus Star was created to take the burden off skilled chefs who were having to spend a great deal of time on prepping fresh products.
The company quickly took off and became very popular within the Airline catering Industry.
One of its first products were hand peeled and cut segments of orange. The company still maintains the tradition of hand cutting the majority of its fruit and now through its highly skilled employees it offers a range that consists of Exotic Fruit salads, segments, slices, dices, wedges in either a bulk, individual or predished format.
The customer base has also become varied and now consists of Airlines, Airline caterers, Food service, Hotels, Restaurants, Confectioners and Bakers.
We operate from purpose built premises that are located within one of the UK’s premier wholesale markets near Heathrow Airport, from this location we are able to source fresh products on a daily basis from the four corners of the world.

Our Services
We offer a vast range of products that come in various sizes, fruits salads in various mixes and bespoke products created to fit budgets. All this is done whilst maintaining the highest accreditation in BRC, we have consistently held this accreditation for the last 15 years at an ‘A’ grade and now at a ‘AA’ grade, product safety is as important to us as product quality.

Sourced from around the world we aim to use only the best in season fruit, we are trusted by our customers to source the best in terms of taste and consistency and through our network of suppliers can source almost any product in the world. We do take great pride in promoting British produce and when in season always look to sourcing as locally as possible.
